Istanbul: The Chora Church (Kariye Museum)

Once a Church, then a Mosque and now a museum, the Chora Church was our destination this afternoon. The main body of the building, the Naos, is currently closed for restoration. Still, that didn’t stop us enjoying the wonder of these 14th century Byzantine mosaics and frescos that we were able to see.
